Big Brother Naija ‘Show Ya Sef’ housemate Victor Ikpe, popularly known as Keivo, has been disqualified from the reality show following a physical altercation with fellow housemate Tram.

According to reports, the decision was announced by Big Brother on Tuesday after housemates were summoned to the lounge to review footage of the incident. Big Brother identified Keivo as the person who initiated the physical confrontation and stated that he could no longer continue in the competition.

“Keivo, as the perpetrator, has been removed from the house. He is therefore disqualified from the house. Violence is never an option,” Big Brother said.

Keivo’s name was subsequently removed from the official voting platform.

The incident occurred on Monday during the final week of the show. It began when Tram accused Keivo of taking a black shirt that belonged to him. Keivo denied the accusation, stating that he owned a similar shirt, and objected to being labelled a thief.

The disagreement escalated into a heated exchange that resulted in a physical altercation.

Other housemates intervened to separate the two. Big Brother later instructed everyone to remain still while security personnel (referred to as ninjas) entered the house and escorted Keivo out through the storeroom.

Before leaving, Keivo became emotional. He told Big Brother that his reaction stemmed from the accusation rather than the shirt itself, and expressed concern that the incident would define how viewers remembered him.

The disqualification took place just days before the grand finale, scheduled for 4 October. The eventual winner of the season is expected to receive a ₦160 million grand prize.
