Popular Nigerian social-media personality Njideka was among the fans who attended Nigeria’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar in Uyo last Friday. Nigeria won the match 2-1, with Super Eagles captain and midfielder Wilfred Ndidi completing the full 90 minutes.
What drew particular attention on social media was Njideka’s choice of attire: she was photographed wearing Ndidi’s distinctive number 4 Nigeria jersey and shared images of herself in the stands.
In recent months, online discussions have linked the two. Earlier this year, unverified reports also circulated about Ndidi’s personal life, including speculation surrounding his marriage to Chidinma. Neither Ndidi nor Chidinma has publicly addressed those reports.
Additional social-media activity has kept the conversation going. Posts from last year showed both individuals sharing images from Spain around the same period. On Father’s Day, Njideka posted a photo of herself with a man whose face was not clearly visible; some online users suggested a resemblance to Ndidi, though no identification was confirmed by either party.
As of the time of writing, neither Wilfred Ndidi nor Njideka has issued any statement confirming or denying a romantic relationship. All commentary remains in the realm of public speculation based on social-media activity and public appearances.
Ndidi continues to feature for both club and country amid ongoing debate about his form and role in the Super Eagles setup.
