The Presidential Campaign Council of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has claimed that President Bola Tinubu is aware he will lose in a free, fair, and credible election in 2027.
The campaign council’s Chief Communications Adviser, Comrade Mark Adebayo, announced this at a press conference in Abuja on Saturday, praising the SDP presidential candidate, Adewole Adebayo, as the best presidential material.
Mark criticized Tinubu, African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, and Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate Peter Obi, saying they lack what it takes to advance Nigeria.
He argued there is no basis for comparing Tinubu and Adebayo, accusing the APC administration of worsening poverty, hunger, and insecurity.
Mark urged Nigerians to vote and protect their votes, stating, “President Tinubu knows, and all Nigerians know, that in a free, fair, and credible election, he will lose in a landslide in 2027.”
He said Adebayo is more prepared, intellectually equipped, and has developed a blueprint to address Nigeria’s problems.
He explained that unlike other politicians who see public office as a means for personal wealth, Adebayo is a self-made leader with clean hands, highlighting that no other candidate has his level of humility despite his sophisticated intellect and dedication to the country.
When comparing Atiku and Peter Obi with Adebayo, Mark emphasized that the SDP presidential candidate stands taller with a solid record of personal integrity and offers a fundamentally better approach to governance.
He stated, “He is definitely a clear alternative to the “Siamese Twins”. The major political factions in Nigeria have proved to be two sides of the same coin, leaving the country politically dead. Prince Adebayo and the SDP represent the real third force that millions of Nigerians have been asking for.
“Forty years is not enough time for corrupt leaders to keep milking a country dry, but four years is more than enough for a focused leader to rescue his people.
“Compare him with Atiku, for example, and he stands taller with a record of personal integrity and professional excellence. The former Vice President’s integrity has been consistently questioned, notably by the president he served with. Nigeria cannot afford this issue alongside the current problematic regime.
“Compared with Peter Obi, Adebayo offers a more effective approach to governance.
Leadership requires moving beyond populist rhetoric and examining empirical possibilities. By analyzing their economic ideologies, approaches to labor, production models, and structural consistency, it’s clear that Adebayo presents a stronger blueprint for Nigeria. Unlike Obi, Adebayo does not cater to ethnoreligious divisions.”
