Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 11 housemate, Abisola ‘Abi’ Ayoola, has won the Head of House (HoH) title for the second time this season.
Abi earned the position after beating Gerard in the final round of Monday night’s HoH challenge, Naijapiz reports.
This achievement makes her the first female housemate to win the HoH title twice in the current ‘Show Ya Sef’ edition of the reality TV show.
The organizers, in a statement posted on their website, said Abi was victorious after several elimination rounds that ultimately left her and Gerard to compete for the coveted title.
“For Gerard, it was another close call as he once again came within touching distance of the HoH title. But in the final round, Abi held her nerve and secured the win,” the organizers stated.
This latest HoH victory also brought a significant change to the privileges linked to the role.
Unlike previous weeks, there was no Lucky Dip to determine who would access the HoH Loft. The organizers said the Loft now directly belongs to the Head of House.
The organizers also announced that this week’s HoH will be allowed to take part in next week’s Head of House challenge.
This marks a departure from the previous setup, where an outgoing HoH was not allowed to immediately compete for the position again.
After the HoH challenge concluded, Big Brother also announced changes to the nomination process.
The usual saves were canceled after repeated discussions among the housemates about nominations, conspiracy, and possible saves.
Under the new arrangement, only Abi, as the Head of House, and Sheba, the Most Influential Player of the Week, are safe from potential eviction.
The other housemates are now at risk of eviction.
Meanwhile, Bells has once again been named the Benchwarmer after Big Brother asked Yusuf, Bells, Ricky, Aikou, Nomy, and Sheba to roll a die.
Bells scored the lowest, rolling a one, while Yusuf and Sheba rolled two each. Nomy rolled a four, and Ricky and Aikou both rolled a six.
